You would have to directly connect your computer to the printer through the USB port as this printer is WIRED, you cannot plug it into the router in any way. By High Speed they mean a USB 2.0 port or greater, for the fastest printing a USB 3.0 port would help print faster. They also make a WIRELESS version, G3260, that allows you to set up the all-in-one through your wi-fi.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The high speed USB connection would be to your computer. And it can be a USB 2.0 as well as a 3.0. Note a Printer to USB cable does not come with it. I'm using the one I had for my old printer.
