QuestionHi: When it says that you need a high-speed USB connection in order to print, does this mean that the printer needs to be connected to the ROUTER, or to the COMPUTER? I'm hoping for something that just plugs into the computer for printing. Thanks!

- Answer You would have to directly connect your computer to the printer through the USB port as this printer is WIRED, you cannot plug it into the router in any way. By High Speed they mean a USB 2.0 port or greater, for the fastest printing a USB 3.0 port would help print faster. They also make a WIRELESS version, G3260, that allows you to set up the all-in-one through your wi-fi.

QuestionThe Specs say it uses 4 tanks/bottles, but 6 tanks/bottles are included, which tanks are included? What resolution does the scanner copy at? Can you save scanned copies as jpeg or only as PDF’s?

- Answer Includes two extra bottles of black. Scanner scans at max 600x1200dpi and can save as both jpg and pdf.

- Answer Just set up my new PIXMA G2260. It was delivered in 3 days by Best Buy, set up was uncomplicated, and the print quality is excellent. As hard as it is to believe, there wasn't a USB cable in the box!

- Answer I don’t know about sending scans from the printer to the computer? I do see a scan tool on my Pixma. Yes the printer is hard wired which I narrowed down my search to a printer that is wired on Best Buy online. I am very happy with my printer performance and the ability to have bottles of ink versus cartridges.

- Answer With cromebook and windows 10 pc works good, it was detected in automatic, to print, ready in few minutes, but I can not tell you about scanning... we didn't use it yet
