• I don’t know about sending scans from the printer to the computer? I do see a scan tool on my Pixma. Yes the printer is hard wired which I narrowed down my search to a printer that is wired on Best Buy online. I am very happy with my printer performance and the ability to have bottles of ink versus cartridges.
