• The Best way to find out what is needed to set up this printer is to download the manual and read the set up guide. I just bought one for my wife, but we haven't set it up yet, but I am on my 3rd Canon printer and the smaller models give you better use and does all you will need to do.

• it comes with everything except the usb cable, printer paper, and photo paper. additionally it can be connected wirelessly through your home network/ wifi.
