Then you can zoom in digitally from there, but the image will get progressively grainier

A:AnswerI use mine mainly for vlogging, but I think it would work for showing the colors. However it’s really all about the lighting when you’re trying to capture that perfect before and after. Honestly I think an iPhone in portrait mode would have the same capabilities this camera has when it comes to just taking photos. I would play around with your cell phone camera and lighting in the salon first before spending the money on this point and shoot style camera. You’d be surprised at the quality your phone takes when you have the right lighting. If it’s an option to take your client outdoors for photos you’ll have the best luck! Hope this helps :)

A:AnswerBrian, Click on the "See when you can get it" button and enter your zip code. If it says May 26th then it should be available for pickup at that time. My local BB stores (I probably have ten within 30 miles) usually have new cameras on launch day.
A:AnswerI'm wondering the same thing, sometimes on the best buy site you can preorder and it says June 10th but sometimes it just says coming soon. I heard the 26th as well. I wish canon would just put out the release date!
A:AnswerDaniel, Amazon did have this for May 26th but pushed the date back to 6/9. I suspect they have filled their pre-orders already and pushed new orders back two weeks. B&H and BB still has 5/26 as the release date so they probably haven't filled all the initial allotment yet.
