• RF is far better and will work without a EF-RF lens mount adapter that would be required. Even then Sigma lens may or may not work on R5 or R6 using the adapters.

• The Sigma weighs twice and much- and that's before adding in the adaptor weight!

• The Canon lens will focus closer, need no adaptor, as mentioned above and is just an excellent lens that will work with all Canon bodies using RF lenses now and in the future. It's also lighter.
