No, unfortunately I can’t get it to work with mine

No it does not, as the crown is covered by another plastic crown on the watch used to turn

No, it does not seem to be able to get started due to the silicone lining.

I believe the crown dial needs to be exposed to use the ecg feature and this Catalyst case actually has a plastic extension for the crown so in fact, you do not touch the actual crown dial rather the plastic extender.
