• Yes. I 've also use the fried chicken coating. I've use cooking spray on bottom of basket before cooking then spray directly on food last 10 minutes or so of cooking

• Yes you can. Though every recipe in the included book calls for Pablo breading. I did use flour the first time I used it and while it works I don't recommend it. Any flour that doesn't stay on the shrimp will end up on your counter.
