QuestionOn the back of the box it says you can use your OEM factor key fob to start the vehicle. Do you have to use the one button remote start provided with the compustar box?

- Answer No you do not. And the factory key fob only works on select models. There are some vehicle, off the top of my head I know the 2008 Chevy equinox, does not support the factory key fob to start the vehicle, but will work just fine while the vehicle is shut off. I think it’s something to do with if it’s a flip key, or buttons on the key you use in the ignition, it will not work.

QuestionI see the harness ad other parts are still included, however it seems the price went up $100 on the unit. I was all set to purchase after sleeping on it after comparing to other brands. I thought Bestbuy sales changed on Sundays and not Mondays. Anyone?

- Answer you have to check with your specific year and make, but i have 2009 rav 4 with push button start and it works perfectly! they were able to program my fob to be able to use to remote start too.
