Well I'm no expert but this is what I would do I would buy the viper because it is cheaper and the smart phone app for your phone is free unless you don't mind paying.. And I would get the plug and play modual were you only had to hook 3 plugs up then I would sell your factory remote because idk if they make an app for factory for your cell or not but what are you looking for distance I know the sell range extenders I hope this helped if you have any other ? Please try again later.I am looking for certified top of the line high end as far as alarm and remote start and the luxuries ie: smart phone control etc etc. I am interested in unlimited range and wouldn't mind paying for a monthly service if its worth it after a trial period. I am not sure though if the OEM factory remote start on my vehicle can be used and programmed with different remotes/options. Looking for what ever is best in every catergory . Which smart phone unlimited range tells you the temperature in the car and outside the car before start and while running??? i believe that is the option that separates the 2 and or alarm sensors otherwise they are identical?
