It’s very easy. If you don’t have remote start, you buy this kit, it has the module (brain), T-harness (for your make and model), and Drone. This system uses your factory security system. If you want to upgrade your factory security (or don’t have one) you can add the security upgrade which is around $100. I added the security upgrade at time of install as they have them on hand at most Best Buy’s. There is an LCD 2-way upgrade also, but doesn’t make sense. This drone kit gives you a 2-way remote (which I don’t use) as I now have my factory key programmed to start with pushing lock 3x or I use the app to lock/unlock/start. Sorry long answer. Buy this kit, buy the security upgrade once you take to install bay at Best Buy. I have already done two of these and doing my third next week.
