• With phone which comes with subscription- range is unlimited but $5.99 monthly minimum cost. Remote- works fine and free.. works upto half mile range. If you want cellular service.. I would say go for viper because viper comes with one year of free service for cellular but also comes with standard Bluetooth app which is completely free. Hope this helps..

• Remote is 3000' and phone is anywhere you have a cell signal. Could be hundreds or thousands of miles away.
