“Ok, so the title says Wired Stero Headset. However, in the description it says “Included 7.1 surround sound adapter”. So, will 7.1 surround sound work with this headset if i plug it into the adapter? Sorry of this is a stupid question XD”

7.1 will work when used with a computer and plugged in thou the USB adapter that comes with it. 7.1 will not work with play station or xbox

If you would like to use the 7.1 Surround sound, then just plug the dongle into your PC and use the iCUE software to enable this option. The great thing about this headset is the ability to switch between stereo and 7.1 surround sound using the software and dongle.

I use mine primarily for wow and discord. when the software works the surround is great but since I use discord so much I had to disable the software and dongle until they improve the software.

The only thing you have to do to get the 7.1 to work is download the iCUE software from Corsair's website. Inside of that software you will find the option to toggle between Stereo and the 7.1. This all should be in the quick-start guide provided with the packaging.
