Since I am a huge Corsair Fan, I went ahead and got the Corsair Hs60 for my console gaming. The hs60 was on sale for$40 so I had to act fast. After opening it, I was amazed how gorgeous it looked. The stitching on the top was amusing and the professional design was eye candy. I love the mic quality, I tested it on a recorder and it was pretty clear. No compression but little low on the bass on the mic. After gaming and listening to music with these, I would say for the price, it’s definitely an amazing deal. The Surround feature only works on PS4 and PC, however the aux cord will work on Xbox. It’s very durable and say it will last awhile. The sound quality is good but little lacking bass. Doesn’t bother me but for bass lovers, it’s just average. Love how the mic is detachable so I can wear this in public with its nice flat design. It is close back so noise isolation is there but not heavy because the ear cuffs are little thin. I have a huge head on width and length and it fix fine, I didn’t have to use it at its adjustable max setting. I would say, don’t get turtle beaches, Razer and any other brand, go use Corsair or HyperX.
Now Comparing with my Void Pro, I would say the Void Pro is more comfortable because how thick the cushion is and roomy. Since my Void Pro is wireless, if it runs out of battery, I’ll easily switch to my hs60

These headphones are the absolute best you will find for $50 or less. When I first bought a pair of gaming headphones I bought some $30 junky pair from Walmart. They hurt, they sounded terrible, and broke within 3 months. I decided to spend just a little more on these Corsairs and I am so glad I did. These are crazy comfortable. I have big ears and they go completely over my ear easily. They are extremely light to where you forget they are on. The sound is very good and is very accurate for sensing directional noises in games. The removable mic is also cool for watching movies. The cord is very long so there will be no issues there and even comes with a velcro tie to shorten it. Mic quality is clear. These work with Ps4 and Xbox One for me. I’d recommend these to anyone wanting a great pair of budget headphones.

Decent sound but the ear pads do not last

I have had these since May 2019. Sound is very important to me because I am hard of hearing. The sound was plentiful and relatively easy for me to hear voices with some tweaking on the Xbox. I have tried other headphones and these came out better for price.( I purchase these while they were on sale for around $55) As far as build quality, that is lacking in my opinion. I typically stored my headphones after use in a drawer to keep my dogs or daughter from getting to them. The ear pads have come apart from the ear piece. I am only a casual gamer so this concerns me. How long would the ear pads last with someone who games 5 or 6 days a week?? I don’t think the pads would last more than a year. The pads are comfortable for a few hours but they do not “ventilate”. I found my ears “sweat” after an hour or two of use. I would suggest the warranty If you are going to use these often.

After having the Astro A40 with mix amp, Turtle beach Elite 800x, Corsair Void Pro, Hyper X Cloud and Cloud II, I believe that for the price, ththe s headset was the best for its money.

This headset was definitely meant for PC only. There is no point in buying this item if you plan on using a console. You lose the best part of the headset when on console. The difference between console and PC is simple.
For console:
-It's a standard headset
-May sound a tiny bit better/produce deeper sounds than a previous headset(50mm drivers)
For PC:
-Sound quality is boosted by 10 fold easily
-7.1 Surround Sound is awesome. Sounds great for games
-The headset sounds just like a pair of Sony/Beats/Bose with an amazing punch from the drivers that you miss out on with a console
-I love the whole 1 cord idea. It only uses 1 USB slot on PC instead of both a headphone/mic combo
The Good/Bad:
-Fits very snug, it doesn't feel like any sound escapes making much better sound quality
-Very simple and sleek
-the controls on the back of the left ear cup are very handy. Much better than on the cord
-Not wireless(for those who hate cords)
-Not comfortable to wear past an hour or so(I have the same problem with beats Pro headphones; it may not bother you depending on the shape of your ears.)
Overall, I really enjoyed them for the time I used them(8-10 hours), but for a daily gamer like myself I need something that is more comfortable for extended periods of time. Thanks for reading.

If you don't want to read a lot, these are very good and you won't waste your money by going with these. Recommended.
Now for those of you who want a little more detail, I am going to break down my opinion of these a bit more. Let me start by giving a reference as to what my opinion of these is based on and what other headphones I use. I currently have my Beyerdynamic DT880 Pros (250 Ohms), Beyerdynamic DT770 Pros (80 Ohms), Audio Techinca ATH-M40X, Sony MDR-7506 (pad modded), and my current budget favorites I can't seem to stop listening to lately... the Yamaha HPH-MT5. I am powering these with an assortment of amps from the budget Syba Sonic USB headphone amp up to my beloved T.C. Electronic Desktop Konnekt 6 firewire interface. Now that's a bit of reference for more of the enthusiast types who might be reading this. So how do these HS60's stack up against the "Pro" type headphones? The fact that I am even including the Corsair HS60's among them should speak volumes (yeah, pun intended). Mic quality is passable and plenty for your basic gaming needs, not as good as a dedicated XLR mic, or even a good USB mic, but it's OK and it's built in to the headset so the convenience of that is not to be overlooked. Audio quality for playback and gaming sounds is where these shine. They have clean enough bass, not overwhelming but present and not too boomy. The mids are maybe a little recessed but overall recreated accurately. The highs are also accurate and you can get a good sense of imaging with these. Soundstage is not as large as I'd like, but it's not as bad as some I've heard in headsets costing more than the HS60's. They do a good job of blocking outside sounds as they are not an open-back construction, thus the soundstage is enclosed a bit because of this. The comfort is great for me personally, pads are plush and the leather-like material is supple. Clamping force is not overbearing and I really like the quilted stitching on the headband, makes for a luxurious look and feel. Build quality is excellent for the price range, metal where it needs to be for reinforcement. These are a rebranded headphone, if you are into headphones you'll probably have already picked up on who makes these for Corsair to slap their name on. All in all I do recommend these if you are looking for something you can just plug into your computer or game console controller directly and be done with it, you'll have your sound going in and coming out all sorted and with one wire... and it will be quality sound. Of course there's better sounding setups, but they're not necessarily as easy and setup free.

I've been using this headset for a while now, sometimes on PS4, sometimes on Xbox, sometimes on PC. The sound quality is great, and they're comfortable to wear for long periods of time. It's not too bad with glasses on either, though I can't wear them quite as long unless I put the glasses above the ear cups.
Easy to adjust volume, and the mute button is in a good spot.
No complaints about the mic from my buddies on discord, either.
All in all, these are relatively inexpensive, and do a great job for gaming solo or with some friends. I'm not overly competitive with games, so I don't know how well they hold up in a super competitive environment, where things like sound cues can make or break the whole thing, but if you're not a pro, these are amazing. Definitely would recommend.

this headset has fantastic sound and is the most comfortable headset I have ever owned! The mic is detachable and it has buttons for volume and mute mic on the backside of the headset. A usb connector comes with the headset so it can be used with any console and or pc. When you download the corsair software you can turn on the 7.1 surround sound and wow does it sound great! My only complaint is that when you talk with the headset you cannot hear your voice in the headset and I do not really like that, but besides that this headset is amazing!

For what I paid and what I was expecting, these headphones sound great. There are better sounding headphones, but not in this price range. I wear them at work during the day for extended periods of time and find them comfortable. I do notice they are a tad snug, but it doesn't affect comfort. I also sometimes wear glasses and find no discomfort.
The detachable microphone is handy as well (I keep it in a drawer). Volume knob on left ear piece is handy as well. Headphone audio is not detachable, but longer (at 6' length) than most headsets.
Primary use for listening to music and web conferences. I'm happy with music sound quality!

Good headset with decent sound quality. The sound quality is not amazing or very loud but it is clear and works well. The bass is lacking a bit compared to higher end headsets. Looks durable and built quality. Not the most comfortable but I can wear them for 3-4 hours before my ears start to hurt a little. Good headset for the price, but if you are looking for something high end, this is definitely not it. Just a solid mid-range option

Just wanted a cheaper pair of headphones for the PS4 and seen these on a lot of peoples top 10 and nothing but good reactions. Sound is good and get plenty loud enough. Playing Blackout on COD 4 is more clear and can hear direction of footsteps really good. The volume control is very helpful and handy. Lacking bass in the game, but listening to music was really pleasantly surprising. To me low, mids and highs are all there. Bass especially if using some sort of equalizer. I used the one built in with spotify and S8+. Glad I purchased these. I wished the HS70 wireless ones had the option to use 3.5mm instead of strictly wireless. A steal at $49.99.

Great headphones for somebody who isn't an audiophile, but still wants high-quality headphones. Very comfortable, sound doesn't escape from the headphones so you don't distract others, and the detachable mic is very convenient for gaming.

Used this headset for about a year before upgrading to the wireless version (HS70)
Really love this headset, super comfortable, not too tight, doesn't make your ears sweat and still pretty easy to hear if someones calling your name behind you. Great sound quality for the price and super easy to hear enemies coming from behind you. The biggest downside of it is the mic, it's not that good, at all. It almost feels as if it's an afterthought. HOWEVER. The mic is detachable allowing you to use a separate usb mic. You can also plug the headset directly into any aux port, including your phone and use it to listen to music or watch videos when you're not at home. I still do this with my wired version.
Great for a gamer on a budget.

Sound quality? Check
Comfort? Check
Aesthetics? Minimalistic, not a good or bad thing.
USB cable? Almost to short to be useful. Plugged into the back of my PC it's to short (large case, 34 inch monitor, so I'm not sitting close to it by any means.) Even with a standard setup, if a PC was in a tower cabinet below the desk it probably would be strained to reach my head. Makes no sense for it to be as short as it is.
