Please try again later.For the first month I had it set to update at 10 min intervals and it still went to half the battery after a month and that is the highest interval between updates there can be so other than turning it off and not using it at all, I'm not sure how else the battery could be saved or it could last even half that long.

Depending on the adjustable settings, each charge can last up to a year before needing to be recharged again. At the fastest reporting interval with the device moving frequently, the runtime will be 3 to 6 months. At the slowest reporting interval the device can run on a single charge for up to one year.
