I'm 5'8", so it's hard for me gauge, but I think she would have a stretch. However. You can use this thing anywhere. We have it sitting in front of the couch. If she has any chair or stool that fits her, it will work. It comes with pads you can put the front feet of the stool in so it won't slide. It is VERY heavy, so you won't be moving it around much.
