Hello Tuna, This device will not charge a car battery. Running off the cigar outlet, the unit can provide 150 watts of continuous power. Running off of the car battery can provide 400 watts of continuous power. The unit can safely power equipment as long as it does not exceed those 2 limits. Thank you for submitting your question!
