Initially, I was running into this issue when installing 2 16GB ram sticks in replacement of the original 8GB. The RAM cards ONLY fit one way into the RAM slot(s). I would make sure you are able to here a "click" sound on both ends of the RAM sticks to ensure they are locked into place correctly. Also, I had the PC unplugged while making changes to the system. Make sure you apply pressure to lock in the ram sticks. If you are positive that the monitor is not the issue, then carefully put pressure to lock the ram sticks into place without damaging anything else. I bought these RAM sticks to upgrade my ram - CORSAIR - Vengeance LPX 32GB (2PK 16GB) 2.4GHz PC4-19200 DDR4 DIMM Unbuffered Non-ECC Desktop Memory Kit - Black
