corsair 750w powersupply, works,fits, and can be bought instore
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Corsair 750XM is what Corsair suggested to run the AMD R9 390X. The Best Buy technician said you don't really need that much power though. He said (Geek Squad) that a 600 watt unit would do the trick. I put a 750XM in my other machine and will probably put one in this one. It's usually on sale when it goes on sale for around $80. I have no problems running the R9 390. I don't run the R9 390X. According to what I read on Corsair's site the machine could handle crossfire graphics cards with a 750XM installed. I imagine running crossfire most people wouldn't take their chances with 750 watts, but Corsair's card tool said it would work, and I think they probably know what they are talking about. The 750XM is semi-modular so you won't have cables all over the place if you install it. You can only attach the cables you need. I like that about it.
