Definately! I am a teacher and bought it mostly for "school work".
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's a computer... The only reason why it's called a gaming computer is because it has much better specs and or technology than other computers. Used to play games on maximum quality (depending on pc) and take on the heaviest of games and still be able to function well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes!! It will function just like a normal computer and it's perfect for school or personal use. For typing up papers and printing them and saving them, Windows 10 comes with Wordpad installed. It's almost identical to Microsoft Office's WORD. To find it in the computer, just enter the word wordpad in the search box next to the Start button, on the bottom of screen on the left side. It will come right up and all you have to do is Click on it , and Wordpad will open up. P.S. The Start button is no longer a round thing like in Windows 7. Now it is the Windows Logo with 4 different colored windows in a rectangle shape.

You can create folders and save files just like a regular PC. Although, it says gaming, this is really a PC but just has extra video graphics to enhance and enable gaming functions.
