Customers are saying

Customers admire the Gamer Ultra Desktop's performance and its affordability. Many appreciate its ease of use and the option to upgrade components as needed. However, some customers found the size to be larger than anticipated and noted that the fan noise could be excessive during gaming sessions. The lack of built-in Wi-Fi was also a common point of concern.

Great Starting Computer when on sale

I purchased this computer when it was on sale for 399.99 which in my opinion was a steal. I usually build my own PC's but I saw this as a great starting computer. When I bought this for 399 I also bought a GTX 970, 240gb Sandisk SSD, and a 600w EVGA Power Supply. Since then I have also put in another 8gb"s of rams and bought a few peripherals. Good: Great price when on sale Lots of room to expand and grow into Came with a windows 10 recovery disc which was very nice. Keyboard, Mouse, and RGB lights with remote are all nice touches. Bad: Out of the box it is not ready for triple AAA gaming to be comparable. Uses a Micro ATX motherboard Only has 2 dim slots for ram. Power Supply out of the box is not the best for upgrading your graphics card. Overall I have been very happy with the performance to my machine with only the occasional annoyance to the bottle-necking of the processor.

Really good machine so far, lots of memory and storage space, plenty of room for expansion. I didn't need the gaming keyboard or mouse, but my Grandson was happy to get them. The lights are cool, but I don't see the need. There are two USB ports, headphone and mic ports on top.....kind of an awkward spot if you plan on placing this on a shelf, they would have been more convenient on the front. Keep in mind that this machine is physically VERY large by today's standards, so it probably won't fit in the space vacated by your old computer. It seems to run well, and setup was very simple, it's not loaded with useless bloatware or junk programs to delete. Time will tell how it performs long term, but it's put together well, and I expect many years of service.

I've been working off a laptop for both my digital art and gaming needs for 6 years. I recently saved up and splurged buying myself this desktop hoping it would solve my lag problems and the like....and oh boy did it. I bought this for the upcoming Blade and soul release, my friend always runs better then me and I wanted to be on par this go around. I went from using the smallest window setting and 0 graphic preset for low key computers....to running at the highest settings and all the graphic options available; very smoothly with about 57 FPS. All of this while downloading files from my old laptop AND talking on Skype. Its running smoothly, was very easy to assemble, the colors are insanely fun to play with in the case and the keyboard and mouse are excellent. I'm using this comp right now to write this 10/10 love it SOO worth the purchase~ My friend may just get one now cause it runs so well o7 thanks Bestbuy, Thanks Cyberpower

I wanted to venture into the world of desktop gaming but wanted to get something good and somewhat future-proof, and this has been the perfect buy! Compared several different pre-made riggs and this was the best overall bundle for the price with the most positive customer feedback (search across multiple electronics vendors). Purchased this as part of a pre-Black Friday sale for $399, when other similar or weaker devices were at least $600+ on the lower end (most cost even higher). One of my best purchases to date! Easy to set up and use out the box (although it is a bit larger than I expected, especially coming from a mini-tower previously), including remote control for the internal light show that it does. Is as impressive to look at as it is to use. Has several ports and slots for future upgrades (which is perfect for me, since I can use this for several years without having to purchase a whole new rigg anytime soon), and the graphics and speed have been perfect for my uses. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this piece of hardware. Could only do better if you build one from the ground up.

I came across this computer by accident. I went in the store to buy a iPad Pro and walked out with this. It's pretty bare bones in terms of features and hardware. You don't have a wireless internet adapter or Bluetooth, but those can be purchased as USB adapters for a relatively low cost at BB. I bought this computer to run Microsoft Flight Simulator Steam Edition and I'm happy getting around 20FPS with medium-high settings with some 3rd party payware like the PMDG 737NG. Setup was super simple, while the keyboard feels a little cheap, I really like the feel of the mouse. But you do get a 7200 RPM HD which it seems like a lot of PCs at BB only come with a 5400 RPM drive. You have to realize this is a "gaming PC" for $399, I would not pay full price for this machine. I really wanted a intel chip and NVidia graphics, but again at this price I'm not complaining and I felt like I was really getting a deal. If you look at just the standard desktop PCs BB sells, most of them don't even come with dedicated graphics card for under $500. I'm hoping this machine will stand up over time and not fail. I really like the transparent side panel and the remote that allows you to have control over the display lights inside the box. I haven't explored how upgradeable the machine is, but again... at $399 I feel like I've really gotten my money worth. If you see this machine on sale, you probably won't be disappointed whether it's for gaming or productivity.

Good value PC. For the price it was at ($399 during black friday online), it was a steal. Minus the bad things that I'm going to mention, its still something to consider since its very easy to upgrade the parts (which you will need to eventually). Pros - On time delivery, perks like the free headset and McAfee Free year Antivirus, Windows 10 comes with it, custom lights with a clear panel to see inside the PC, and the value (once again). Also came with a solid keyboard and mouse. Little to no noise when everything else is dead silent for those wondering. Cons - You get what you paid for. HEADS UP, it came with a SATA 2 motherboard, Raedon R7 240 and a 350W power supply. Start with the SATA 2 Mother board, came out in 02/03 and SATA 3 in 09. Why are CyPwPC's being built with SATA 2's? Same with R7 240; it'll still play old games well over benchmark and some of today's games at low, but you get way more out of a 250(x) and 260(x). Also, 350 power supply?! I've had this PC for a month now and why I give it 3 starts is the fact that after 2 weeks of using it, I kept getting Display driver errors, artifact-ing and video_tdr_ errors every day. Called CyPw ands they werent able to help me, saying its probably a faulty graphics card. In which they wanted me to put money up as deposit to send me a brand new one. I know its a Best Buy/CyPwPC comp but why put something faulty in a computer and then have the person pay more money to possibly fix the problem?! Other than that, its still a good PC to buy, but I would expect to make some upgrades to it ASAP. If you're the type to want to "set it and forget it" still good and fast that will last a long time. I hope you all don't get a faulty one like I did. PS - Yes I've gone through every troubleshoot for the display driver error (including reseating the graphics card). Still no resolution.

Excellent for the price, gaming on high settings. A little bulky and power cord is very short, didn't work. Keyboard is meh, but gaming mouse is cool. Overall very good for the price and for those on a budget.

I really enjoy this gaming tower. It is fast and has plenty of power to handle any task you throw at it. In a gaming sense this is pretty powerful too. It has 2gb of video ram which is enough to run most games on high. A new game on Steam called Firewatch runs perfect on ultra high. I can't say enough about this gaming tower and it was very reasonable on price for the specs it brings. Definitely would recommend this computer to a friend.

I bought this thing at $549, and I love it. The easiest decision ever to buy it at $399. It runs every game I have purchased. Borderlands 2, Shadow of Mordor, Rainbow Six Siege without a problem. If you have never purchased a gaming computer before, it is rather large, and a bit louder than the standard basic computer. With that said, it is upgradable for the future. For $399 you cannot go wrong with this computer.

I bought this for my son, he loves it! The computer is fast, amazing for gaming, and keeps him busy for hours! It did lack instructions but luckily my 14 year old knew what to do. It also is jazzed up with lights so it has the crow effect , I want the keyboard and mouse for my own, they are perfect for us.

Bought this for my GF to casually game on and do her college schoolwork on. She needed a new PC and enjoys casually gaming on WoW/Hearthstone/Sims. Is it super high powered ultra gamer? No. Is it worth the money to buy? *insert expletive here* YES! Pros- Looks great and lighting colors are easily changed. Good budget PC-- Runs WoW Legion on good settings (with a couple set to high) at 25-48 FPS Built in graphics overclocking software Comes with Keyboard and mouse Boots fast. Cons- AMD still runs DDR3 Ram. Only 2 ram slots each holding a 4gb stick for 8gb total. Upgrade-able to 16gb, but would have been nice to use just an 8gb stick for ease of upgrade. Fan noise is excessive when gaming. Thoughts: If you need an inexpensive all around good PC and don't plan on heavy competitive hardcore gaming, this is perfect. Makes a great 1st time gaming PC, Runs smooth with no issues and can be upgraded. If you can find it on sale for $399, don't hesitate to buy.

For $549 you cant build this computer for cheaper then buying it. And you wont fined anything better in its range. Yea if you have 2k to drop on some alienware go for it. But for the price you cant beat this pc. Im downloading at 8mb per second on a wireless connection and playing call of duty at great 70+ fps

This pc is Good from coming from a 2010 asus gaming laptop. I plan on swapping out the graphics card and power supply and adding more ram to make it 16gb and also getting a better gaming keyboard and mouse. Im not big fan of the mouse. It runs the games I enjoy playing like Dayz, H1z1, ARMA 3, Gta5 pretty well and is powerful enough to stream obs from my ps4. Only had it for 2 days and im loving it.

Purchased this computer for my son, he loves it. The speed and graphics are great for the games he plays, so much better than the laptop he was using. We have had no problems and the setup was easy, the only problem we have had which is not with the computer is setting up his driving wheel and that is complications with the Windows 10.

Easily set up and ready to go. My son is a serious gamer with his own Youtube page and a lot of followers who watch his videos so it was time to get him an updated computer. He was actually speechless when he got it for his birthday which is hard to do. He had no clue he was getting one this nice and it's everything he wanted. He loves the clear side so he can see the internal guts of the computer and he was able to set it up himself and with a portable wifi adaptor he's off and running.

Before I purchased a $1,000 computer I decided to research the possible pc's I could start with and since I was on a budget I saw that they were having a sale and saw the cheapest at the top of the list. So I decided to start with this CyberPowerPC. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical about the price and so I read the reviews. Now I'm playing many FPS killing games and on a decently high graphics and it's handling it absolutely amazing even while multitasking with other programs. I'd recommend this to whomever is looking for a gaming pc or just a cheap fast running PC. Oh and P.S. the mouse and keyboard are also a benefit from this low priced package. It even came a day earlier than expected to be.
