This PC has been great for me so far and I've been building my own for years. I only got this because the price was amazing. If you're new to pc gaming, this one would probably service you well. Just know that there are things to learn about running, configuring, and maintaining a PC that doesn't come with consoles. Be prepared to learn a LOT about your new hardware and you should be fine. :) Good luck and welcome to the #PCMR

The CPU itself is solid, it'll handle most games perfectly fine, though due to how AMD's Ryzen lineup works - getting faster, lower latency RAM will vastly improve CPU performance. On the flipside, unlike any PC with an Intel CPU, you can upgrade the processor down the line, as AMD is supporting the AM4 socket for ALL of their desktop processors through 2020. If you got an intel PC, if you wanted to get a new CPU you'd have to get a new motherboard as well. With AMD, if your CPU starts feeling old in 2020 you can just... get the latest processor!
