“Is there a way to turn off the speaker? Also, could it possibly transmit to a neighbors baby monitor or walkie talkie. Would really like to disable it. The whole speaker thing makes me feel like the neighbours are listening in.”

• Michelle, thanks for the question. The only way would be to turn the volume down on the monitor. The cameras transmit on their own private network that is encrypted so there is no way that it would be overheard on another device Defender Support

• The camera with microphone can be assigned a password to provide privacy to only your monitor.
