These are great cameras... If your not a whiny vanity person..they are worth every cent... just today’s homeowners, and business owners..are way too staunch on vanity... cameras should be seen to begin to work.. which you’ll think duh...Good Job Best Buy and Defender.... I will buy more...

Very convenient and easy to use and install. Bought it for the instant view of my front and back door. I was tired of the ring door bell. Every time the ring doorbell went off I had to grab my phone, open it and by that time the person was gone. I put it in my living room when I'm downstairs watching tv. Then when I go to bed I just plug it in upstairs next to my nightstand. Also has an awesome sleep function that turns the screen off until someone activates the motion sensor then the screen turns back on then back off.

The camera has a great picture. The system is easy to install. Just plug in the camera and the monitor and follow set up steps. Was easy to set up. My wife loves that she can see who is at the front door and speak to them if she wants to without having to open the door.

Very easy to set up and has a clear picture. The camera is motion activated with both audio and video. You can set an alert to go off also but it isn't loud enough to wake you up. The audio and alert can be set for how loud you want or can be turned off. The video can be set for how long to record after motion is detected with the shortest time being 15 seconds. Stores data on sd card. Only downfall is it cannot connect remotely . Lacks instructions on how to use but i found some help on line.

I purchased this system to monitor a weekend cabin when we are not there. So far (two months of use) it is working well. Now we know when bears, deer and hummingbirds are up to no good on our property! The system does give us a certain peace of mind. My only concern is that the monitor device and controls, particularly the joystick, seems rather fragile. I am certian that it will be the first thing to break. But it is one of the least expensive camera systems out there.

I have had this system for a while and am very satisfied with it. This purchase was for a friend. I have recommended this system to others because of the simplicity of the set up and other features. They have also purchsed the system. Since it is not internet based it stays in use when my internet is down. Visability is good during daylight and nightime use. Recording is easy with the sd card. An issue that I encounter is the deletion of recorded files. I would prefer a way to delete several files at a time without deleting the entire folder. Also i would like a remote to turn recording on and off.

I bought this as I needed a outdoor cam to monitor my side property and thought this would be ideal. However, it requires a AC power source for the camera and proved to be much more involved to mount and run the wire where I could plug it in. Hence my need for something totally wireless. Otherwise it had a good picture on the small 7" monitor it comes with. Also, there was NO instruction manual included to explain how to use all of it's features. I had to go online to their website to view it.

VERY EASY TO INSTALL. PLUG AND PLAY. WORKS GREAT FOR WHAT I NEEDED. SINGLE-CAMERA IS FULL SCREEN, BUT THE SPLIT-SCREEN IS NOT AS SHOWN OR PROMOTED. THE SPLIT-SCREEN IS MUCH SMALLER THAN REPRESENTED AND HARDER TO SEE.

This camera is perfect. You attach two or three parts, plug in an outlet, and start monitoring your surroundings. I love the fact that the cameras don't require batteries and records when motion is detected. The camera is very user-friendly. I have ordered two systems for my sisters, Neshell and Joyce. They are very pleased with their cameras, also.

System was very easy to install. I would have given it 5 stars if the angle of view was larger. Good clear picture. I would recommend it.

Installed in lambing barn so we could watch from the house. Has worked well and saved us several trips to the barn. I.m impressed how well the speakers work as we can also hear what is going on. Great product!

Good thing with this Defender Security system is the ease of installing them. This is a plug and play system. I had one camera beneath the terrace and the other outside in the elements . I was about to buy a hood for the one outside just to be sure that it won't get messed up because of rain, wind and snow. But even before I was able to buy one, I got the rain, wind and snow just a couple of days ago and what can I say, it held up fine. I have them now for about a couple of months now and so far it still perfect. Resolution is just fine. Would recommend this product.

Works well for my situation- I wanted a monitor that I could view & watch what was going on outside on my porch. DID NOT want a system that uses an app on my cellphone! Very clear picture, and can view continuously or by motion detection. Does not use your WiFi..has it's own antennas that work with the monitor antenna to "pair" the system together. It works for my situation!

I have owned 2 of these camera systems they work well with audio and video. the microphone system is a bonus.the picture is very clear.

I love the fact that it has night vision. It helped to catch the person that vandalized my vehicle.

No need for an existing Wi-Fi network with this system. The cameras broadcast directly to the monitor and come pre-paired so set up is plug and play. So easy to use, I bought this for my Mom. Monitor is on continuously, and recording is motion activated. Sound pickup is good and is recorded along with motion. No batteries needed.

very well made cameras. good color quality. very easy to install and set up. only negative is the control stick for input. seems fragile. overall good product for the money.

i have it on motion an only records when there is motion. can talk to a person an the color is real. i only got it with one camera now i am thinking of getting a second camera. make sure there is a outdoor plug to plug camera into. the monitor needs no set up just plug it into your wall socket an watch. you tube will also give a monitor set up.enjoy
