A:AnswerHello Matt. Thank you for contacting Defender! While we do not offer an alternate antenna, one option that may work is to extend the antenna with a Teflon cable with 50 Ohm impedance. It is an SMA connection that would be needed. Please note that this is not a supported modification and while having no effect on warranty coverage, we are unable to provide assistance in regards to the change.

Providing your cameras are mounted at a distance out of reach, these lights may also act as a prevention tool to deter those considering theft or damaging your property. As this is a wireless system it is susceptible to interference from outside sources. This can be fixed by repairing the cameras to the monitor by following the steps in the manual!
