CAN YOU HOOK UP A SEPERATE MONITOR null

Hi Jay, a separate monitor cannot be added as mentioned in the 'community answer'. Rest assured however that should the power go out, all your settings will remain and will function normally.

Don't think so. The monitor it comes with is what controls everything, record settings and what not. It saves everything onto a sd card though so you can put it in a computer or tv and watch what's been recorded on that. It seems like a pretty decent unit. 2nd camera would almost be nice to get for the intercom function alone. Good purchase, simple, works good, and wanted a stand alone thing to use without needing internet. I wonder what happens if the power goes it, will it come back on and record like it was always on or have to be reset?
