My old Definitive ProSub 1000 has stopped working. A DN8 looks like a decent replacement and will physically fit in the existing space but has an on/off switch instead of auto-on. Does it matter if I leave it on all the time? null

I'm pretty sure this question has already been answered. But for those who may have the same question in the future, yes it's ok to leave the sub on for long periods of time. It goes into sleep mode when there's no signal coming into it. But I would turn it off when going on long vacations.

Hello. It is okay to leave the DN8 on all the time. The DN8 will move into auto-standby mode for when left without a signal for approximately 30 minutes.
