I was told by the sales person that I would be able to hook up my two external monitors to this laptop. This does not appear to be the case. What is needed for me to make this happen short of returning the computer? null

Check the USB-C port for the DisplayPort designation, as not all USB-C 3.2 ports support video, and the salesman might have made a mistake. Also check the cable with a set of known working ports (for the same reason).

You can connect 1 external Monitor via HDMI port and another via Type C to HDMI Adapter or Dell DA305 Adapter.
