I would think that it should, you didn't list the name of the CAD software but most modern CAD and Video programs take advantage of the AMD and nVidia graphics cards. I use Cyberlink's Powerdirector 15 and when I tell it to use the nVidia GPU it creates the video about 4 time faster than without it.
