“I have a 2070 Max Q in my MSI 144hz laptop, and it can only push like 160fps consistently on fortnite. Is this really a 2070 Max P? And if so, how many FPS can this get up in a game like fortnite? I want to be able to consistently run around 250-300fps”

This system is shipped with a NVIDIA RTX 2070, 8GB, GDDR6, MQ graphics card and yes, you can get maximum performance on this game.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You will be able to use the maximum performance with this computer. On Fortnite you can run 360fps without any frame drop. I have a 2060 in mine and I can easily run 300fps on it. On warzone I get around 120-130fps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is about a 20% difference in raw speed. You would need to go to a top tier card to reach the speeds you are talking about or the new 3070. But I am surprised you don’t get screen tearing now on a 144hz screen. The human eye really don’t see more then around 90hz so 160 is much faster then you see. How fluid a game is may change a little but not by a lot over 144 frames a second. The reality is 90 FPS is going to do it for most people fluid and no ghosting.
