Yes, this system hardware is built to support Adobe photoshop and other editing software, while you have other tabs open in the background.

Though I haven’t dived into photoshop, I have put it through the paces with games that eat up processing speed and would cripple normal laptops. It handles those seamlessly so my expectation is you should be fine.
