“Is it possible to purchase the laptop without Alexa, or just disable it?”

• During setup, you can skip these options. If you didn't, they can be disabled. Type in the search dialog box for , "Alexa", this will lead you to the appropriate screen to unselect/deselect/disable that and other functionality.

• to uninstall: click on "Start"(lower left on task bar)>Settings>Apps & features> scroll down to Alexa app. Click on the 3 dots on the right, click on uninstall.

• Alexa came with my Dell Inspiron laptop, and I just ignored it. During the set-up process I skipped over the Alexa install/activation, and Alexa has not bothered me one bit thus far.
