Typically you can go to dell.com and then go to the support page. Type in the model number and then go to the manual and download the maintenance manual if it is there. If you can get the manual you can normally see if there is an open bay for another SATA drive. Quite often it requires that you get a SATA adapter that will have a small ribbon cable for it that will connect to the system board.
