QuestionWhat is the max RAM for this machine (the BIOS or motherboard limit)?

- Answer The Dell answer is actually wrong here. The machine's board itself supports 128 GB of memory but the processor model supports up to 64 GB, so 64 GB is the limit for this model. I checked the BIOS memory limit with some system tools and for the processor, that information is available on AMD's website. I'm currently using more than 16 GB.

- Answer Fully charged the Inspiron 15 3535 gives you approximately 6 1/2 hours of use for basic tasks. Gaming and other high battery usage may reduce this. Improperly cared for laptops (over charging) can reduce this battery life significantly.

QuestionAre the hinges on this laptop secure? I bought the Dell Inspiron 7000 2 in 1 around 4 years ago and the right hinge broke off, and I’ve heard a lot of other complaints about Dell models with that.

- Answer No, and no. That is the modern trend. Optical drives have been supplanted by pen drives, while Ethernet ports have been mostly omitted to save a couple of dollars, so everybody has to get a hub or USB-adapter.
