Yes, this laptop has a M.2 2280 PCIe connector (use a M.2 drive with 1 notch on the pin side, don't use a M.2 with 2 notches on the PIN side it didn't work for me).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As mentioned this laptop has an extra spot for an SSD but you need to purchase a PCIe NVMe SSD for it. What's nice is that you can keep the existing HDD in it when you upgrade that way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The HDD can be replaced with an SSD but they are expensive. Some laptops have two spots. I havent opened mine up to find out. Hope this helps some.
