If the processor is not 2.6ghz or faster, playing the game will be painful. Minecraft will play with Intel HD graphics, but it is recommended to have a discrete video chipset if you want it to look good and play smoothly without lag. So. You want a laptop that will play Minecraft? This laptop will play Minecraft but not the way the game was designed to be played.

Yes, it should be. It has an i5 processor so it should play Minecraft well.
