Absolutely! It has a quality processor and a decent amount of memory. Its not really equipped for serious gaming or anything that involves intense graphic manipulation but it should be great for web browsing, office software, watching movies, even some casual games. Its not extremely light and thin but thats not entirely bad - at least it feels solid and not flimsy.
