I can confirm there is a extra ram dimm slot. ddr4. Also an open hard drive space for 2.5" hard drive or ssd. Nice laptop. my buddy bought one and i ordered another 8 gig ram $40 and a 1T 2.5"wd hard drive $40. should be a nice machine.
According to the manual. This model has 2 RAM slots and i is being used by the 8 gig RAM supplied. As I understand it you can through one of the USB ports use a secondary SSD drive either to work from or t use as back up
This laptop only has one M2 port for an SSD. Therefore no, you can't add a second internal SSD. You could replace the SSD with a larger volume drive, if you like. And as someone noted, it does have 2 USB 3.1 ports on the outside that you can use to plug in an extra hard drive if more space if needed. Two RAM slots. Only one is used from the factory so you can add a second 8gb to max it out at 16gb if you like.
Thanks for the info. I should've indicated a secondary internal SSD. Most laptops offer to add a secondary internal SSD. Just want confirmation if this laptop has the capability of adding a secondary internal SSD or not.
