• Yes...this can be "the one". Photoshop will take advantage of multi-threading by the CPU. If you do a lot of RAW format photos, you may want to use an external drive to store them since they take up a lot of storage. While 512GB is BIG.....it can disappear quickly with large photo files. 12GB is more than adequate. If you use the online version of Photoshop, it will be even faster, assuming a fast internet connection. I prefer local software.

• Those are relatively simple tasks. If you select a Macbook with sufficient RAM (perhaps greater than 4GB), it shouldn't be a problem.
