“Does the CPU fan kick in often during normal utilization (i.e. browsing the web, viewing youtube, watching a movie) or is it pretty quiet? Does the fan run quite a bit or is it mostly off? Thank you very much.”

Under normal use, the fan doesn't seem to kick on at all (unless you're playing a heavy web browser game, lol!) Under gaming use, it is STILL a very quiet computer and if you're using your speakers, I *seriously* doubt you'll notice that it came on at all aside from the initial fan spin start.
