• You're right, there is no Ethernet connection,; however, I've seen micro sized Ethernet adaptors online and it will plug into a USB port. Just search google for it.

• On ultra-thin laptops it is not possible to have an internal RJ45 (Ethernet) port. One can be connected externally with a USB to Ethernet adapter.
