Keep the specs in mind. This system needs 3200 speed UDIMM. (Do a google search for this model's specs). I also wouldn't get sticks running more than 1.2 volts: this is not a rig that you will be overclocking.
A:AnswerNo internal speakers in the Dell tower. You'll need either external speakers or a monitor with built-in speakers (and a DisplayPort or HDMI connector). The DVD drive should be able to play DVD movies (I've played music CDs with it). Don't think it has DVD video recording/editing software included, but you should be able to play DVD movies with the pre-installed software.
