• Upgrade your RAM and HD to SSD as I did and it does quite well, didn't test it stock but it should be decent with stock hardware. The main thing with video editing is processor, and the I7 will do fine.

• I edit video's a lot. I had a HP I3 8gig memory. This is an I7 with 6gig memory and it sails through at about triple the time. I have easily processed 2 at the same time with no slow down.
