It will work Great !!!! I Purchased a Dell 5765 that came with a Ryzen 1700, 16GB and 1TB WD Black HDD. Removed the HDD to be able to run multiple Samsung SSD's. A Samsung 970 evo 1TB, 500GB SATA SSD, 250GB SATA SSD and added 16GB for a total of 32GB. High speed NIC card and added cooling for cpu. Runs fast as anything! But Microsoft Win 11 starts support with the 2700X Ryzen cpu. This pc will blow away my Asus Ryzen 7 4000, 512GB SSD, 32GB ram. Can't see why they cut the 1700 because it's Just as fast as a 2700X. SAME PERFORMANCE! Great pc but will only run Win 10 until Oct 16, 2026. I signed up for the Free virus definitions yesterday. Will not be Free for long, so go to Win Update and soon you will see the offer. Takes 45 seconds to install update for virus signatures. But I am great with mods and plan on installing a new style motherboard. I'll make it fit period. Too Good of a PC to junk ! because MS will not support a Ryzen 1700.
