This monitor can be used like a regular TV but remember that it is a monitor so there is no audio and you will have to buy separate speakers to be able to hear the movie and/or TV

As good as this monitor is, go for a Dell 27" flat screen, you will thank me later if you purchase this first because the curve can cause some dizziness if you are only using this for anything other then gaming for long stretches of time. Good luck.

Yes it will but it doesn’t have speakers so you will need external ones.
