Yes, this monitor will upscale to 4K, I was able to use the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X with it in 4K mode, as well as watch Netflix in 4K HDR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In short, yes this monitor can accept a 4K signal and downscale it to 2k (1440p). I have run my GPU at 3840x2160 and had no issues. Now gaming at 4K would require a lot of GPU power (and a decent amount of CPU power as well), but the monitor would be able to handle it. With that said, most graphics cards (at least Nvidia cards) would offer DSR (Dynamic Super Resolution) if you have enough horsepower on the GPU. Basically, the GPU would render the game in 4K (or higher) and then scale it down to the native resolution of the monitor, so you wouldn't need to necessarily have the monitor accept native 4K input, however it can if need be. Netflix and Plex have no trouble playing back 4K content in the native 4K resolution as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not 4K. I played Xbox series X games with this monitor. The screen and gameplay feel Xbox one graphics, not Series X graphics. This is 2k monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is only a 2K monitor. To display 4K content you need a high end graphics card and a 4K monitor, not a 2K. Please read the monitors specs to view these details.
