A:AnswerHello,
Because Soundbars have their own amplification built-in, they are designed to space-save and to be used instead of an AV receiver. They plug straight into the TV and produce any sound fed to them from the TV.
A:AnswerHello. We can recommend a current version of the RSP-1570 - as it is a pre-amp/processor I suggest a Marantz AV7706. Unfortunately, we do not have a pre-amp/processor in our current line-up. The closest model we have (with pre-out connectivity to external power amplification) would start with the AVR-X3800H, which is an AV Receiver rather than a pre-amp processor.
A:AnswerHello. Yes - the AVR-S670H is a fine replacement for the RX-V677, adding many more new technologies. Taking the performance and functionality of the AVR-S670H to a new level are support for 8K video feeds, Audyssey's auto set-up Room Correction, and a HEOS engine which allows you to stream from many popular online music services. There is also the support for use of our optional wireless Home speakers in up to 32 different zones in your home.
A:AnswerHello. Compatible Sonos devices can connect the AVR-S760H using digital or analog interconnectivity. Sonos is not able to connect wirelessly with the AVR-S760H.
The AVR-S760H has a HEOS engine on board. This allows it to pair with our optional wireless Home Speakers which can be used in up to 32 different locations in your home, including the use of a wireless sub-woofer in each location. HEOS also includes the ability to stream from many popular services including Amazon HD, Spotify, Pandora, Tidal and TuneIn Radio.

A:AnswerHello John. The AVR-S670H supports playback of digital audio files on a USB Thumb Drive. It is important to be sure to format your Thumb Drive with FAT32 or NTFS prior to loading it up with audio content when using with it with the AVR-S670H (or any of our compatible AVRs).
A:AnswerHello, yes, there is an analog input on the rear panel of the AVR-S670H labeled "Phono." This input is specifically for a turntable. The Phono input accepts MM (Moving Magnet) cartridges. If you have an MC (Moving Coil) cartridge, you will need an external Phono Amplifier.
