No, you can hear the bass but you don’t feel it. However it sounds great.

Hello, adding a powered subwoofer is very common. The .1 in the typical surround format is a dedicated subwoofer/LFE channel. LFE (low-frequency emitter). Connecting a powered subwoofer to the RCA subwoofer pre-out will provide you with .1 playback. However, if large floor-standing speakers capable of low bass output are used, the LFE signal may be diverted to the main speakers. In either case, using a powered subwoofer for the ultimate experience is still recommended.
