However, it does not include composite or component video inputs. If you have a DVD player with an HDMI output, it will be compatible with this receiver. If your DVD player only has composite or component video outputs, it will not be compatible. For those needing component and composite video compatibility, we recommend the AVR-X4800H receiver. Alternatively, you can connect a DVD player to a supported television and then link it to the AVR-S670H receiver via HDMI ARC.
