If you do not have dji remote- you need to fly with WiFi - which doesn’t have that much of range , I think 30 to 40 feet ( read manual), but if fly with remote -you can fly up to 4 miles. No- it doesn’t need phone signal- macvic has its own WiFi . And you need to set up video configuration on your phone dji go 4 app so that video will keep storage on your phone , in fact 4K videos come with it micro as card. - not by your phone memory. You need flush you app , otherwise it app will crash.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't need phone service to fly. The only reason the app needs data is to display maps, and you can use wifi to cache them to your device before you fly if you wish.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It hasn’t been an issue at all for me. I don’t think cell signal matters at all because you can use an iPad without data.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The drone can fly using just the remote only or the phone the reason for a phone is just to see what your drone is recording while you fly so just make sure your phone is fully charged and just like anything else that experience bad signals you might have some issues connecting but so far I haven't really had any issues with signal I would recommend operating your Drone in a area where you have good signal to avoid fly away drones
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I dont believe the phone uses data unless your live streaming. The feed is (not 100% positive) from the remote.
